Requirements for the physical properties of disposable medical gloves in the European standard EN 455-2 and test methods are presented. This standard, which is a set of standards, has been published by the Turkish Standards Institute in our country with the following headings:
The EN 455-2 standard includes requirements and test methods for physical properties such as dimensions of disposable gloves in length and width, and the breaking strength before and after heat aging.
This European standard specifies requirements and test methods for the physical properties of disposable medical gloves, i.e. surgical gloves and examination gloves, to ensure that patients provide and maintain adequate protection from cross contamination.
This standard does not specify the size of a lot. Attention is drawn to the difficulties associated with the distribution and control of very large parties. The maximum recommended individual batch size for production is 500 thousand.
