Protective clothing is the clothing intended to help protect the users from physical and health hazards. These garments are the final barrier between the person wearing it and the danger that requires protection. However, it does not replace many safety measures such as proper workplace engineering and safety practices. Effective use of protective clothing includes the quality and functionality of these garments as well as their proper manufacture, wearing, taking off and protection.
