In the meantime, a risk assessment should be made before choosing the appropriate eye protection.

All products offered to consumers in the European Union countries must have the CE mark. Laser safety glasses must also comply with the laser protection requirements of the personal protective equipment directive. In this context, manufacturers must always test and approve protective glasses in accordance with EN 207 and for alignment glasses in accordance with the EN 208 standard. After being tested according to EN 207 standard, laser protection Various signs are placed on the glasses, indicating the maximum power and energy densities that the glasses can protect at different wavelengths.
