Special gloves provide protection against various dangers. For example, anti-vibration gloves, welding gloves or electric gloves.

The Personal Protective Equipment Directive 89/686 / EEC published in the European Countries covers the principles for the production, import, distribution, introduction and inspection of personal protective equipment. Based on this directive in our country, the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation has been published in order to regulate the principles regarding the design and production of personal protective equipment offered to consumers, the protection of the health and safety of the users and the free movement of personal protective equipment.

These legal regulations specify three risk levels for protective gloves: minimum risk, medium risk and fatal risk.

For gloves used in simple jobs with minimal risk, manufacturers can make tests and certification with their own means. These types of gloves must bear the CE mark.

General use gloves that require good cut, puncture and abrasion performance are manufactured for medium risk jobs. These gloves are tested and certified by a notified body. Authority to use CE marking is given by these organizations.

Gloves with intricate designs are often used in potentially fatal jobs. These gloves are also tested and certified by a notified body. Authority to use CE marking is given by these organizations.
